2024 - Celebrating 18 Years of Bringing the Arts to our Community
Big Rapids Festival of the Arts (FOTA) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing entertainment, workshops, and exhibits each year for the month of February. Sponsorships allow for a wide array of events with world class talent, igniting a passion for the arts and learning. By sponsoring Festival, you get your business name in front of hundreds of potential customers and make a significant difference in our community.
The Big Rapids Festival of the Arts Board is pleased to announce the public art piece for 2024 will be a sculpture designed and created by Michigan artist Ivan Iler. Iler specializes in metal fabrication, kinetic sculptures, and largescale public art; he created the piece "Black Bear" that greets visitors on the River Walk along the Muskegon River in Big Rapids. You can catch Iler on Season 1 of Metal Shop Masters on Netflix.
